  • In seeking counseling and psychotherapy services, we would approach your concerns from a personal place.  I would ask you some important questions about your current and previous life experiences.  We would then work collaboratively to land on a treatment plan that makes sense for you, taking into consideration things like how your feelings, your different behaviors, your thinking patterns, and how situations or people in your life may play a role in some of the concerns you have. Together, we would establish treatment goals based on your needs, and devise a number of techniques and exercises to help you feel better.

During the therapy, we will work on techniques that are built to help you feel better. By the end of treatment, my goal is to support you in accomplishing everything you wanted to accomplish by coming to psychotherapy sessions.  For some, this can be understanding themselves better, whereas for others it may be accomplishing individual mental health goals.

  • I am a licensed psychologist in the states of New York and New Jersey.  I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology from Yeshiva University.  My training occurred in clinics and medical centers in both New York City, and San Francisco.  As a native New Yorker and practicing psychologist, I have had a private psychotherapy practice the West Village neighborhood in New York City (Manhattan), from 2008 until 2025.  I saw that the psychotherapy services I provide could be expanded beyond Manhattan, which led to me to offer 100% telehealth services to those who are located anywhere in the states of New York or New Jersey.  My goal is to work collaboratively with you, in treatment that generates the results of (1) reducing and eliminating problematic experiences and symptoms, and (2) increasing healthy experiences to help you feel better.
